When changing to larger volume injectors, the stock fuel pressure is often too low to fully atomise fuel. Raising the fuel pressure can allow injectors to work at full efficiency. Also, raising fuel pressure using the standard injectors can increase the fuel flow without changing injectors. (Please note that extreme changes to initial fuel pressure can reduce fuel atomisation. As load on fuel pump will be increased as fuel pressure increases, fuel pump may require upgrading)
