GD Clutch

A multi plate clutch which can handle high power but with emphasis on controllability. By using engagement springs and a hub dampe*r, (*excludes some vehicle applications) driveability is increased whilst protecting the transmission and other power train parts.

Engage Spring (Patent Pending) - Springs placed between the pressure plate and centre plate forces one clutch disc to engage before the other. This increases the semi engagement range and therefore makes the clutch easier to drive especially on the street.

NB: Engage springs should not be taken apart under any circumstances

Hub Damper (Patent Pending) -

The hub damper will absorb the shock from when the clutch initially engages and also absorb sudden changes in torque from the engine which protects the transmission and reduces gear noise.

GD Clutch Pro

Developed using the HKS T-002 and HKS R33 Drag GT-R, HK GD Clutch Pro is available as twin or triple plate (twin only for some applications) and with options of lighter flywheel and strengthened covers for some applications. Extensive testing has shown that these clutches can be used in extreme circumstances including drag launches.

RB26DETT(BNR34) Triple Type

EJ207(GDB) Twin Type

Sequential springs have been installed to GD Clutch Pro for accurate engagement without losing the “direct” feeling of a multi plate clutch.
